# Personal Playbook Template

A one-page home for your three best prompt templates, so you open it on Monday instead of reinventing prompts under deadline pressure.

## Step 1: Audit your week

List every task from the last five working days that took more than ten minutes.

| Task | Minutes | How often | R | P | C | L |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [TASK] | [MIN] | [DAILY / WEEKLY] | y/n | y/n | y/n | y/n |
| [TASK] | [MIN] | [FREQUENCY] | y/n | y/n | y/n | y/n |

R = Recurring, P = Patterned, C = Checkable, L = Low-regret. Four yeses means a strong candidate. Pick your top three.

## Step 2: Playbook entries (repeat for each of your three)

- **Task:** [TASK NAME]
- **Trigger:** [WHEN I USE IT, e.g. Friday 2 p.m.]
- **I paste in:** [MATERIAL]
- **I check before using the output:** [NUMBERS MATCH NOTES / NO NEW PROMISES / TONE FITS]
- **Template lives in:** [NOTE OR FOLDER NAME]

## Step 3: Not delegating

- [TASK]: [REASON, e.g. needs my relationship and context]
- [TASK]: [REASON, e.g. needs a professional]

## Step 4: My privacy rule

[E.G. No confidential or customer data in tools my organization hasn't approved; redact when in doubt.]

## Ready-to-paste prompts

**Turn a prompt that worked into a template:**

```
ROLE / TASK: You are helping me [TASK IN ONE LINE].
CONTEXT: [WHO IT'S FOR, WHAT THEY CARE ABOUT]
INPUT: [PASTE MATERIAL HERE]
OUTPUT FORMAT: [STRUCTURE, LENGTH, TONE]
RULES: Use only the information provided. If something is missing, write
[MISSING: ...] instead of guessing. Flag anything you're unsure about at the end.
```

**Assemble the one-page playbook:**

```
Here are my three tested prompt templates and their tasks: [PASTE TEMPLATES]
Organize them into a one-page playbook with, for each: task name, trigger,
what I paste in, what I check before using the output, and where the template
lives. Add a final section called "Not delegating" with this list and reasons:
[LIST + REASONS]
```

## How to use this in 10 minutes

1. (4 min) Fill in the audit table from your calendar and sent mail, then score each task.
2. (3 min) Write one playbook entry for your top task, using a prompt that has already worked twice.
3. (3 min) Write your "Not delegating" list. It is part of the system, not an afterthought.

A template makes a result repeatable, not correct, so keep the "check before using" line on every entry. Review the playbook monthly and retire anything stale. Check your workplace AI policy first.
